Design your future
New times and new technologies have brought a new approach to communications i.e. new standards and rules of communications. This was the bases of the 2017, Knowledge Factory, which covered the following topics: information consumption, safety and recommended behavior online, Internet of Things, digital communication and digital knowledge in art. Also, in 2017, a wide range of interactive activities where organized through seven different workshops, among which were: the little school of design and programing in Scratch; while the region’s most influential YouTubers educated participants on the topic of: How to start out on YouTube.
2018
Smart cities and innovative solutions
Montenegro’s eighth annual Knowledge Factory featured more than just the usual IT content. The theme was “Smart Cities”, a concept that encompasses a vision of urban development that uses digital and communicational technologies (ICT) and the Internet of Things (IoT), to better meet people’s needs. The concept was presented to visitors via an attractive, interactive and fun expo, which charmed visitors with its extraordinary attractions: a Holo Box device that offered an interactive holographic experience, HoloLens glasses that enabled visitors to experience virtual reality, the exciting light effects of a Tesla globe, a Reaction Game simulation for enhancing reflexes, an Augmented Reality iPad booth, a Friend machine, a Kaleidoscope and a Sphero maze – a game designed to introduce visitors to the concept of Smart Cities.
